The Standard Puzzle Hamster (M. aenigma) is a rare and remarkable species. Generations of natural selection have cumulated in a large yet consistent size, soft fur, and the ability to sit very still for photographs. Indeed a remarkable creature!
After months of bold forays into our workshop and website, the Hamster Leadership Council has reached an accord with Cubicdissection management (an alliance forged with snacks and extended negotiations).
Being naturally curious creatures blessed with instinctive wanderlust, the hamsters seek to explore the world. They pledge to behave and even help solve the challenges unique to our puzzles if given shelter by agreeable collectors. At Cubicdissection, we support such benevolent goals!
Therefore we will henceforth allow the best and brightest of them to embark upon their voyage and fulfill their destiny. They have pledged to report back via continuum transfunctioner (a mysterious and powerful device whose mystery is exceeded only by its power).
Welcome one into your home and join us, human and hamster together, as we see where this new era of cooperation will take us.
Recorded for posterity, here is the monthly saga which led up to this point:
Well made and very accurate as a measuring tool. He's quite cute. He currently sits atop my Excaliburr next to a knitted duck.
At first I thought that the SPH was a silly, but kinda cute, idea. But once CD made them available, I eventually succumbed to its charm.
Out of respect, I named him Eric.
This rare species could only be obtained by solving a puzzle on this site. They multiply quickly, though, and now everyone can enjoy their hijinks.
