Mechanical Puzzles and Puzzle Boxes
For over a decade Eric Fuller has been pursuing perfection in his Raleigh, North Carolina workshop. Exotic woods milled with unsurpassed attention to detail result in heirloom grade interlocking puzzles, packing puzzles and puzzle boxes.
Beautifully constructed puzzle, with a challenging solution, and an exhilarating "Ah-hah!" moment. The added benefit of having a second Stockade #2 configuration with its own solution clearly puts this one over the top.
This was an amazing take on a classic. Love being able to throw it in my pocket and unless the amazingness of puzzles upon unsuspecting civilians.
This one was more challenging than I was expecting and a great design by Tyler with perfect execution by the CD team. That bocote is just beautiful.
I like the acrylic. It looks cooool!!
Your metal puzzles need special care. Oils from the skin, and oxidation will soon take away all of their lustre. Make sure to have these cloths ready for maintaining the quality that drew you to make your CD puzzle purchase in the first place.
The usual Cubicdissection quality, only applied to metal construction. I have at this point spent many hours clicking the pieces together and apart again. Not necessarily difficult, but fun to solve, and more fun to play with!
Awesome little puzzle, precisely made, fabulous!
Your puzzles need to be clean and protected. Especially when they are of the quality purveyed on this site. This brand of wax Is sure to amaze you with its protective and restorative powers. Works on almost any surface.
'Round and 'round they go. How do they open? You may never know. I beat this one, but it almost beat me. I hate to use the term fidget, but that is the right word here. Looks and feels great. Just make sure you get some metal care cloths, and wax from CD, to keep it in top shape.
Not sure why, but looking at the rich brown of the posts and the aqualine blue of the sliding plates makes this a sweet cookie to behold, and there's a puzzle inside. Beautiful art meets stunning craft. Thank you CD!
This was my first puzzle from CD. i've always heard of the top notch quality, but boy is it satisfying to fidget with. I play with this while in zoom calls, and I couldn't be more pleased.
As an experienced puzzler, I solved this in a couple minutes, but it's still very well made, looks great, and I did enjoy the process. It's also quite small, so you can keep it in your pocket and bring it out at social gatherings.
Looks simple: three identical metallic, magnetically dotted pieces forming three identical cubes. What could be easier? Easy, true, but once only you discover the correct attraction. Three cubes is a great diddler that can actually be solved one-handed - without looking.
CubicDissection never fails to deliver. The pocket sized metal version is great to share with friends.
When I got a prototype of this I was sad that they didn't think they'd actually sell it. Well I guess the word got around and demand was high, because they DID sell it, and it sold out! Yes, classic Ichiro Three Cubes, but the fidget factor on this variant is awesome!
The usual CD quality. Of course.
