Twelve Straight / Twisted is an incredibly difficult and satisfying interlocking puzzle. There are a staggering 10,800 possible solutions, but only four are capable of being assembled due to the tricky joinery. Pieces are milled from solid stock with great precision. 82 total copies in made for sale, each signed and dated. 15 copies in Dark Black Limba, 7 copies in Light Black Limba, 5 copies in Mixed Black Limba, 30 copies in Paduak, and 25 copies in Granadillo were made for this release. This puzzle is shipped assembled. |

This is an absolutely beautiful piece.
Corners are so sharp I could cut myself if I had 2 more to juggle.
As for the puzzle...it was a gift for my son in university.
He fiddles with it when he can.
This is an interlocking puzzle that stands apart from most due to its unique design. Eschewing the standard burr sticks, this puzzle uses a variety of prongs to connect otherwise identical pieces into a pleasing, "hollow" cube shape. It seems that puzzlers overlooked the beauty of granadillo as there are still a couple left at the time of this writing - jump on it while you can, for a solve that requires reason and thought once trial & error has failed to deliver.
