Secret Burr is a re-release of a puzzle I made very limited copies of in 2002. Unique in that it's difficult in both assembly and disassembly, there are two locks inside the burr that interact much like Cutler's Ball Bearing Burr. Instead of steel bearings, Secret Burr uses small wood rectangles. Precision crafted of fine hardwoods, this puzzle not only looks exotic, but has the trickiness to back up its appearance.
68 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. 14 copies in Maple, Wenge, and Zebrawood; 13 copies in Bloodwood, Sapele, and Walnut; 20 copies in Maple, Purpleheart, and Lacewood; 21 copies in Cherry, Walnut, and Figured Maple were made for this release. This puzzle is shipped assembled.
