|MATERIAL:||Jatoba, Stainless Steel|

Bill's Ball bearing burr is one of my all-time favorite interlocking puzzles. The normal six-piece assembly is further complicated by the addition of two stainless ball bearings which must be placed in the correct location before assembly. The bearings are then released once the puzzle is assembled, and the solver must figure out how to maneuver them in order to disassemble the puzzle. A very unique concept and a must-have for your collection!
Fit and finish is excellent with this puzzle, which was realized with .88" stock to precisely accommodate the bearings. All tolerances are within several thousandths of an inch, with decorative end-grain bevels on the dense Jatoba used.
75 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped assembled.

Although I prefer the size of the wood version of this puzzle that I purchased years ago, this perfectly made metal copy is so clean and fun to manipulate. This is an elegant edition of a fantastic puzzle.
I was having fun taking this apart and putting it back together without letting go of the pieces. Then I dropped it on accident… this made the puzzle much harder haha. It was one of the best puzzle rushes when I finally got it to slide back together perfectly.
Where did those ball bearings come from!? And where do they go now? The burr itself might not puzzle too many puzzlers, but those ball bearings sure throw a wrench in your plans. Great puzzle, and a very satisfying solve once you get there.
