Ronald and I were chatting back and forth by email a few years ago and came up with the name of this puzzle together. I always liked the design, and always meant to produce it, but somehow never got around to it until now.
This interesting iteration of a six piece board burr uses a symmetrical center piece to limit and focus the interaction of the six dissimilar pieces. It is a fairly difficult puzzle to assemble; disassembly can be tricky as well with nine moves to remove the first piece. I really enjoyed making this one. Its interesting appearance still intrigues me. |
