COMMENTS: | This is one of the more beautiful puzzles I have ever seen, and also one of the most difficult. Mr. Yananose designed this in 1999 without the aid of a computer, and it is according to him "crazy hard". I agree with that assessment! The puzzle is incredibly interlocking, to the point that fully half of the ends themselves are captive in notches.
Construction is very precise, with a nice moderate fit. Some of my finer stock was used for this one. Only 23 copies made for sale; each signed and dated. This is a fairly rare puzzle, and is likely to stay that way due to the precision required. Ships unassembled; solution available on request. |
