COMMENTS: | This puzzle is the physical iteration of the solution to a problem posed by Dean Hoffman in 1978. "Fit 27 blocks, measuring A x B x C into a cubic box with sides of A + B + C. A, B and C must be different and the smallest dimension must be no larger than (A+B+C)/4." John Devost has recreated this puzzle using the exact dimensions as Trevor Woods original interpretation. It is a very difficult packing puzzle. Ten copies made for sale. Handcrafted, signed and dated by the artist. |
