Daedalus by Gregory Benedetti is an utterly unique masterpiece of design. Brilliantly creative and brutally tricky, Daedalus hides its secrets well. The beautiful exterior gives no clue to the sheer pandemonium hiding inside. What appears to be a simple cube is an interlocking maze that continually changes its state with rotations, dead ends, and deception. Simple disassembly is a challenge; reassembly is genuinely an accomplishment.
87 total copies available in this final release. 29 copies in Jatoba, 27 copies in Chechen, 19 copies in Rosewood, and 13 copies in Dark Chechen. Each puzzle is signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped assembled.

I’m stuck with pieces sticking out at all angles, but I am so happy that the Cubic Team has decided to remake this design. I’ve been hunting for a Daedalus for eons and am so glad that I got such a superbly made edition. It’s great fun to analyse and just as much fun to randomly fiddle with. An easy 100%. Well done Mr Benedetti and Mr Fuller.
Daedalus - Interlocking Puzzle (Final Release)
Craftsmanship is great. This was my first CD puzzle and it is obvious that Eric is dedicated to his craft. The precision wood working left me baffled as to how one could make such a puzzle out of wood. 100% satisfied.
