Blah Box is the result of the accumulation of ideas I had while trying to design a simple mechanism for the box containing the DDD Burr Puzzle. I wanted to make a simple trick opening mechanism for DDD, but in the end, discarded the idea because it would overly increase the price of the puzzle. I did come out of the design session with some solid ideas, which, when combined, turned into a rather interesting box on their own. I was feeling rather "Blah" about my failure with DDD and decided to name this new box after that feeling.
No external tools are allowed. No bumping, spinning, or force is necessary or allowed.

95 copies available for this release, each signed and dated. 50 copies in Black Limba and Maple, 25 copies in Zebrawood/ Maple, 20 copies in Iroko, and Holly were made for this release. This puzzle is shipped assembled. We will produce approximately 45 more copies for the December release.
Blah Box is handcrafted to very precise tolerances, and must be kept within the range of 40-60% relative humidity at all times; failure to do so may cause damage. Please read the Caring for Wood Puzzles guide to ensure proper fit and operation.
Blah Box is an excellent sd puzzle box by Eric Fuller, up there with some of his best. It is playful and highlights Eric's devious tendency to confront our assumptions in ways that are as hidden as they are obvious. The sd elements are integral to the puzzle, and necessarily flow from the mechanisms that must be discovered and overcome before sweet, sweet success might be claimed.

I must say, I am very upset. Because of Eric Fuller, unbelievable designs, near flawless work, incredibly beautiful looking puzzles, most exceptional website, extremely anticipated new releases, coveted puzzle auctions, I now find myself completely addicted to all fuller puzzles and I have no restraint in my spending of these puzzles. I now must sneak all puzzle packages in through the garage and into my office, before being noticed by my wife. I have pulled the car over with my family on vacation just to be sure to order a Fuller puzzle on time! Madness I tell you! I have a spell upon me.
Got a blah box from Eric, and I love it! Looks simple on the outside with just enough clues to point u to the next step even though I got stuck for a while. The aha moment and mechanism was genius for me and I really appreciate the craft and mechanism. Look forward to more boxes from Eric definitely
