Topless Box by Eric Fuller was my contribution to the legendary Apothecary Puzzle Chest. Topless is an unusual challenge; with two lids and no top, how can it be opened? The solution is tricky and will surprise you. Originally released in 2012, we found strong demand with our re-release last year and decided to make one more batch for newer collectors who have been unable to find a copy.

The "Topless Box" is an enigma that is as good to look at, as it is to contemplate. It's got all of the mystery, and beauty you expect from the great team at CubicDissection. Not an easy solve, and loaded with clues when you start working it. I have not solved it, and that makes it the more intriguing.
I really liked this box. It has a really cool opening that may take a few attempts at finding. Once you know the solution, it’ll be a breeze to open.
Don't get boxed in by your assumptions because Eric (RIP) was a master at exploiting them. Three gorgeous types of wood were used to construct this solid box which will certainly have you stumped as to how to open it for a while. The aha moment if very satisfying with the Topless Box.
