This 40-gram High Absorption packet is the right size to protect multiple puzzles in a humid indoor environment. Simply store the humidity pack with the puzzles in a sealed container of your choice to ensure your puzzle looks and functions as new. We recommend using these packets in conjunction with our two and four-pack wood cases.

We offer this product in four-packs and twelve-packs at a discount. For less humid environments, see our regular version. 

HOW BOVEDA WORKS TO PROTECT YOUR PUZZLES
Boveda packets add or remove moisture as needed to maintain between 45-55% relative humidity. This protects your collection against shrinkage, swelling, warping, cracks and other damage caused by improper humidification.

HOW TO USE BOVEDA
Step 1: Remove the plastic from the Boveda. Make sure to tightly seal the package to ensure the unused packets do not dry out. DO NOT open the Boveda packet itself!

Step 2: Place one or more Bovedas in the container with the puzzle. Make sure to not place the packet where it could be crushed or punctured! This can release the moisture inside and damage the puzzle. 

Step 3: Occasionally check the packet for replacement. Initially, Boveda has a lot of catch-up work to do as it stabilizes the moisture content of the puzzle. Therefore, your first set of Boveda won’t last as long as subsequent sets.

WHEN TO REPLACE PACKETS
Boveda will solidify as it expires. Replace when the entire contents of the packet become a hardened gel.

Do not use Boveda with other humidification products like sponges, oases, and discs. They will fight against each other and reduce the efficiency of the Boveda. Do not mix different Boveda RH levels within the same container. Instead of creating a new “average” RH, the moisture will merely transfer back and forth between the packets.
