Blah Box is the result of the accumulation of ideas I had while trying to design a simple mechanism for the box containing the DDD Burr Puzzle. I wanted to make a simple trick opening mechanism for DDD, but in the end, discarded the idea because it would overly increase the price of the puzzle. I came out of the design session with some solid ideas, which, when combined, turned into a rather interesting box on their own. I was feeling rather "Blah" about my failure with DDD and decided to name this new box after that feeling.
No external tools are allowed. No bumping, spinning, or force is necessary or allowed.
34 copies available for this release, each signed and dated. 15 copies in Black Limba and Maple, 12 copies in Zebrawood and Maple, 8 copies in Iroko and Holly were made for this release. This puzzle is shipped assembled. This is the final release of Blah Box for the foreseeable future.

I must say, I am very upset. Because of Eric Fuller, unbelievable designs, near flawless work, incredibly beautiful looking puzzles, most exceptional website, extremely anticipated new releases, coveted puzzle auctions, I now find myself completely addicted to all fuller puzzles and I have no restraint in my spending of these puzzles. I now must sneak all puzzle packages in through the garage and into my office, before being noticed by my wife. I have pulled the car over with my family on vacation just to be sure to order a Fuller puzzle on time! Madness I tell you! I have a spell upon me.
Got a blah box from Eric, and I love it! Looks simple on the outside with just enough clues to point u to the next step even though I got stuck for a while. The aha moment and mechanism was genius for me and I really appreciate the craft and mechanism. Look forward to more boxes from Eric definitely
This very well crafted box offers more than can be seen from the outside, like several nice mechanisms, tools, and even red herrings. After the first step needed a bit more force than I expected, I could then progress with finding more and more tools and mechanisms to be solved and in the end I even got a small reward. This is not a "blah" box, but rather an interesting challenge to solve.
