Three Cubes is an award-winning design, having placed in the 2018 IPP Design Competition. The three identical pieces must be assembled to form three solid cubes. This apparently simple task is complicated by the addition of magnets on each face, whose polarity significantly impacts the process. Very fun, and pocket-sized as well!
Please note: Some of the Zebrawood copies have holes created from a specific species of worm. This is a natural characteristic of the wood, and there are no actual worms in the wood.
Precision wood puzzles can be damaged by environmental changes. Please read the Caring for Wood Puzzles guide to ensure proper fit and operation.
Mr. Puzzle posted a very nice video review of this puzzle ** Spoiler Warning - this link contains the puzzle's solution ** found here
It is sublimely satisfying when this puzzle clicks into its solved form. As always, wonderful craftsmanship makes this a little work of art.
I have an extensive puzzle collection and 3 Cubes made by Eric Fuller and Cubic Dissection remains one of my favorite puzzles. It's not terribly challenging and has a nice balance of a simplistic solve, beautiful craftsmanship, and quality wood. I often find myself just fidgeting with this puzzle. There's a very satisfying sound when two pieces are properly put together and the magnets "click" together. A must have in any collection!
I don’t often submit reviews, but the craftsmanship of Eric and his team is top noch, first class, 5 star, need I say more
