Five Cubes by Ichiro is the final iteration of this brilliant concept. Crafted from beautiful Patagonian Rosewood, this is perhaps the trickiest iteration. The goal is to make five cubes using all the magnets, with none of the cubes overlapping by their neighbor by more than one-half cube. One solution has been found to date; can you find another?

A very very original puzzle idea, thanks to the Cubicdissection team, I cannot remember to similar puzzles with magnets, and - really - it is not trivial to solve
I have 3 cubes, 5 cubes and surround from this series of puzzles and I will definitively get the 4 cubes as well to make the set. Puzzling wise it won’t take hours to “solve” it, however you can spend an hour or 2 afterwords trying to build your own shapes, it’s a great fidget toy. You can also take it apart, mix the pieces and re solve it again. As always Eric’s craftsmanship is second to none. Love mine, will never let them go. Thanks!
Simply put, one of the best puzzles around. Everything from the finish of the materials, quality of the craftsmanship, and the tactile nature of the magnets and wood, combine to make an extremely satisfying experience. Highly recommended, and I will certainly be back for more.
